What size should I choose for cross-country skiing gloves?
You can find out the size of cross-country gloves you need by first measuring the circumference of your hand over the slightly arched knuckles with a tape measure. Measure your dominant hand - so if you're right-handed, measure your right hand; if you are left-handed, measure your left hand.
From the measured circumference in centimeters, the size of the gloves can be seen in the table.
EU glove size is given in old German inches. One German inch = 2.7cm. I.e. size 9 corresponds to a palm circumference of 24.3 cm.
For children's glove sizes, the ratio between palm size and finger length is different than for adults. For this reason, the conversion between the German thumb and the circumference of the palm in cm, i.e. / 2.7 cm as for adults, does not correspond to glove size.
