Extremely fast, fluorine-free liquid accelerator designed for finishing ski sliding surfaces in all weather conditions.

Spray Rex Gold Liquid onto your applied racing wax, spread with a cloth and let dry for 5 minutes. The accelerator is stored in a bottle with a mechanical sprayer.

Application method test

Rex wanted to investigate the best way to apply Rex Gold Liquid. Liquid waxes are usually corked, applied with merino or roto fleece, brushed with a nylon brush or simply spread without further treatment. Based on previous tests, the assumption for Rex Gold Liquid was that the best results come from a simple application without brushing or any further treatment.

3 different application methods were tested
1. Spray on the ski, apply with a fiber cloth.
2. Spray on the ski, apply with a fiber cloth. Drying time 5 minutes, followed by brushing with a nylon brush.
3. Spray on the ski, apply with a fiber cloth. Drying time 5 minutes, followed by merino roto brushing and finally nylon brush brushing.

Summary
The results showed that application method #1 provided the best glide in every test conducted. The tests included not only cold conditions, but also wet and zero degree tests, confirming that this application method works in a variety of weather conditions. It was also found in the race tests that the liquid should be applied to the ski surface only after any manual corking or other pressure treatment (the rotary tool does not provide sufficient adhesion on the already prepared surface of the ski base).
