Product detailed description

SKIVO Purple +2°C to -2°C, 40 g, ski glide wax

Ensures good glide of cross-country and downhill skis or snowboards on all types of snow at different temperatures. Serves as a base wax for basic maintenance and preservation of the ski base.

Designed for temperature: +2°C to -2°C

To ensure good durability of the waxing, we recommend ironing the paraffin waxes into the ski base. Apply the wax to a cleaned ski base, free from wax residues and dirt. Heat the iron to a temperature of 120 - 140°C. Place the wax on the iron and let it heat up. Then quickly apply the softened wax to the ski base and spread it. Repeat the process along the entire length of the ski base to create a sufficiently thick layer of wax (this will prevent direct contact of the iron with the ski base). Now iron the wax into the ski base, always following the ironing direction from tip to heel. The wax should only melt, one stroke should take about 20 seconds. Let the skis cool to room temperature. During this time, the ski base will "pull" the necessary wax into the pores. Remove excess wax using the Skivo plexi scraper. Finally, brush the ski base with a soft polishing brush and polish with a cloth.
